MENTORbot uses Google Gemini AI to answer your After Effects questions, completely free. You need a one-time API key from Google to get started.
Activate your free AI After Effects Mentor with these steps:
1. Open Google AI Studio (free)
2. Sign in with your Google account
3. Agree to Google's developer terms. This is free and just means you're using their API
4. Click "Create API key", your key will appear on screen
5. Copy the key and paste it into the field below

Answers are prioritized from the sources in this list.
Source checking uses Google's web search, which has a daily limit on the free
Gemini tier. If you reach it, checking pauses until the next day. MENTORbot
stays free. For higher limits you can upgrade your Gemini tier directly with Google.
